Narsinghgarh Wildlife Sanctuary
Narsinghgarh Wildlife Sanctuary was established in the year 1974 and is one of the most famous wildlife sanctuaries in Madhya Pradesh. Due to its rich beauty, Narsinghgarh is often referred to as the ‘Kashmir of Malwa Plateau’. Within its 59 square kilometers, this sanctuary houses sambar, chital, wild boar, blue bull, and leopard.
The sanctuary also has a Chidikhon Tank where a variety of bird species fly in the migration period. Moreover, the sanctuary is home to a hundred caves that are painted with white and red paintings. If you wish to explore nearby areas then you must visit Narsinghgarh Fort, Bada Mahadev, and Chota Mahadev which border the sanctuary.
