Raj Samudra Lake
Constructed across the Tali, Kelwa, and Gomati rivers in the year 1660 by Maharana Raj Singh, Raj Samundra Lake is known to be one of the best sunset-view lakes in Rajasthan. Perched between the Kankroli and Rajnagar cities, the lake gets its water from the Gomti River.
A huge sparkling white marble embankment lies on the southern end of the lake, adding to its beauty. The embankment is known as ‘Nauchowki’, meaning nine pavilions. The Nauchowki is adorned with intricately carved pictures of chariots, birds, the Sun, and various Gods.
