Constructed in the 14th century to supply water to the nearby areas, Doodh Talai Lake lies in the heart of Udaipur city, surrounded by stunning hillocks. This lake served as the site where one of the earliest musical fountains of the country, Doodh Talai Musical Fountain, was established.

At the present day, Doodh Talai Lake offers excellent boat riding opportunities to tourists. The lake also has appropriate provisions for enjoying camel riding and horse riding. This place is also dotted by several fast-food stalls that serve delicious hot snacks to the visitors.
