Nakki Lake
Perched in the mighty Aravalli ranges, Nakki Lake is one of the most ancient artificial lakes in Rajasthan. Encircled by peculiarly shaped rocks, Rocky Mountains, and lush greenery, this lake features an approximate depth of about 11,000 meters.
Due to the popular belief that the ashes of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi were immersed in the Nakki Lake on 12th February 1948, the place attracts history buffs and patriots. The verdant surroundings and the clear blue waters of the lake also ooze romantic feels and attract couples. The picturesque Nakki Lake also offers boating facilities and makes it available for pedal boats as well as shikara rides.
