Pichola Lake
Dating back to 1362 AD, Lake Pichola is one of the largest and oldest lakes in Rajasthan. Surrounded by towering hills, bathing ghats, and heritage buildings, this lake is a breathtaking sight. The lake is packed with several popular attractions, including the Lake Palace, City Palace, Mohan Mandir, and Jag Mandir.
The Mohan Mandir adorns the northeast corner of the lake, while the City Palace decorates its eastern banks. The Lake Palace sits in the middle of the lake, while the Jag Mandir is perched on the Jag Island. During the evening hours, the lake allows the visitors to head for a sunset boat ride and soak in the serene golden rays of the setting sun.
