Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary
In the Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan, almost five kilometers from the Bassi Fort Palace. Sprawls over an area of 50 sq km on the western border of Vindhya ranges, and is a habitat for many animals like wild boar, mongoose, hyena, jackal, four-horned antelope, and panther, etc. It is also home to many migratory birds like pelicans and cranes which you get to spot during the winter season.
Trees like Dhok, Churel, Salar, Butea, etc are found in the sanctuary and it mainly focuses on conserving animals like Panthers, Hyaena, and Jackal. Chital. Sarna Height and River viewpoint are two main viewpoints that are being built as a part of its development project.
