Holy Family Catholic Church, Jammu And Kashmir
A Roman Catholic Church, located right in the middle of the city was established in 1886 by the Mill Hill missionaries. It is the main church for the minority Christian community along with the All Saints Anglican Church. The church has seen years of violence committed against the buildings and has managed to survive the test of time through reconstructions and the faith of people. You can witness a new church bell that was installed in 2017 as part of the reconstruction process.
History
Holy Family Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic church located at Maulana Azad Road, Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir, India. It was established in 1896 by Msgr. Winkley MHM. Before the Curia moved to Jammu on 23 December 1986, the parish served as a cathedral when the Curia was in Srinagar.
