Gautala Wildlife Sanctuary
Another popular Maharashtra wildlife sanctuary that tourists must explore during their visit to Maharashtra is the Gautala wildlife sanctuary. The sanctuary is named after its neighboring village Gautala and is a beautiful shelter for plenty of animals, reptiles, and birds alike.
The visitors can explore an area of around 26061 hectares, witnessing more than 260 species of birds including jungle fowl, partridges, and quail along with several reptiles, and mammals like a jungle cat, barking deer, jackal, hares, foxes, wolves, and bats.
