Jubilee Park

Jubilee Park is located in the steel city, of Jamshedpur. It is a popular destination for all those who wish to have an outdoor picnic, enjoy some outdoor activities and games, or even have a relaxing day out with friends and family. Popular amongst joggers and cyclists, it is a gigantic park, spanning about 225 acres of land in the city's center. Within, it has a lake, amusement park, recreation center, fountains, and a zoo, amongst other attractions, making it a great place for some fun for people of all ages.

This local attraction is a must-visit on all tourists' lists. It was opened to the public in 1958, on the occasion of the city's golden jubilee, the 50th anniversary of its establishment. This park was originally a gift, to the town of Tatanagar from the TATA Steel Company.

While being built under the visionary Jamshetji Nusserwanji Tata, the Vrindavan Gardens in Mysore were used as an inspiration. This park also shows off a statue of Mr. Tata and is also known as the "Mughal Gardens of Jamshedpur". The presence of the zoological park, Foliage Par, and Rose Garden is part of the reason why this park is such a famous one.

Tata Steel Zoological Park

One of the most prominent features of the massive Jubilee Park, this TATA Steel Zoological Garden is packed full of animal attractions and natural landscapes, perfect for nature lovers, that can be thoroughly enjoyed by children and adults alike. These attractions include a butterfly park, boating, nature trail, safari park, Bat Island, Nature Education Centre, and a photo gallery.

This zoo is entirely safe for children as all the animals have been trained and are comfortable and friendly towards humans. It offers an opportunity for a fun-filled day with water rides and activities and a natural environment surrounded by animals and birds.

Laser and Fountain Show at Jubilee Park

Another feature of Jubilee Park that brings in tourists by the hundreds is the fountain laser and music show that takes place every evening. The beautifully timed and arranged fountain show with colorful lights and musical tunes is a definite crowd-pleaser that makes Jubilee Park so unique.

Showcasing 4 shows per day, from 6:30 PM onwards, the show is an incredible place of entertainment and spectacle. Amongst the throngs of people surrounding the fountains, it's an excellent way to end the day.

Jayanti Sarovar

Jayanti Sarovar, also known as Jubilee Park Lake, is a serene expanse of water located in the heart of the steel city, Jamshedpur, in Jharkhand. Spread over a vast area, it forms the core of the iconic Jubilee Park, a gift by Tata Steel to the city on its completion of 50 years.
