One of the best deluxe heritage hotels in Chhattisgarh, Kanker Palace was built in the first half of the 19th century and then rebuilt in 1937. Placed amid a well-maintained garden, it is the residence of the royal family of Kanker. The palace has colonial architecture and was originally the residence of a British Agent before independence.

Constructed in the first half of the 19th century and then reconstructed in a garden in the year 1937, Kanker Palace was originally known as Radhanivas Bagicha. During the British Raj, it was the residence of the British Agent. It later became the home of the royal family of the region. The palace has a Colonial style of architecture, looks wonderful, and has an old-world charm to it.

Being an experience-based tourist destination, the palace has also transformed the original dining hall into a multi-cuisine restaurant, where guests can savor Indian, Chinese, and continental specialties along with an assortment of local delicacies.
