Takhni-Rehmapur Wildlife Sanctuary
The Takhni Rehmapur Wildlife Sanctuary is within easy reach of the town of Hoshiarpur. The sanctuary is one of the most popular destinations in the area. Known for housing a large variety of flora and fauna, the sanctuary also attracts a wide variety of avifauna. The Takhni Rehmapur Wildlife Sanctuary spreads over an area of 956 acres. Out of the 956 acres, about 498 acres belong to the Talkni Village and 458 acres are a part of the Rehmapur Village. The sanctuary is the true representation of the Ecosystem of the foothills of Shivalik.
