This memorial is dedicated to the nation for its utmost self-sacrifice and love for the country by Lieutenant Governor Lt Gen A K Singh (Retd). Param Vir Chakra Memorial carries pictures and details of all the 21 Param Veer Chakra awardees.

Param Vir Chakra is India's biggest heroism award which is awarded to the officers and commissioned personnel of all military branches for the highest degree of bravery and self-sacrifice. Param Vir Chakra Memorial will remind the people of the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers in the post-Independence era.
