Hanumangundi Waterfall
Alternatively known as Suthanabbi Falls, Hanumangundi Falls is Karnataka’s beautiful waterfall where the stream makes its way through thick greenery in the surrounding. This waterfall stands close to Mangalore- Solapur National Highway.
Forest Department charges you a small entry fee to take you to the base of Hanumangundi Waterfalls.
Imagine chilled, crystal clear water cascading over rocks and pooling at your feet – that’s what the Hanuman Gundi waterfall looks and feels like. The tiered waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery interspersed with jagged rocks.
Around 300 man-made steps carved into the hillside take visitors from the top to the bottom of the falls and back again. This is a safe path but if you go during the monsoons, you must watch your step.
The waterfall and its surrounding area are managed by the forest department. A nominal entrance fee is charged at the gate and you can then spend all day picnicking around the waterfall.
