The 19th Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou, China, from September 23 to October 8, 2023. In November 2021, it was announced that athletes from Oceania would receive invitations to compete in specific events like wushu, roller skating, triathlon, and weightlifting. Since 1951, the nations of India, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Thailand have consistently competed in every edition of the Asian Games. The Opening Ceremony, featuring a grand Parade of Nations, is slated to occur at Alexander Stadium on September 23, 2023.
