Bhoola Movie Review
About the Movie:
Ajay Devgan directed film Bhola is basically a Hindi remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s 2019 Tamil thriller Kaithi, which starred Karthi.
Story of the Movie:
As far as the story is concerned not very unique it’s based on a stereotyped fight between police and gangster and revolves around the drug mafia and police. The film begins with a bang-up action where ACP Daina (tabu) is chasing a cocaine-laden truck and despite being shot she manages to seize the thousand crore cocaine and hides it in a secret bunker. So, the story of this film is very simple.
The climax of the movie is money worthy and this audience should go and watch it.
Twist of this Movie:
This film has two very important twists which lead to the film one is constable Gajraj the spy gangster and gives information to Ashwathama (Deepak Dobriyaal)
The second twist is more important when Bhola is a convict released from jail after serving a 10-year sentence. His mission is to be reunited with his daughter, who is housed in an orphanage. But a chance meeting with police officer Diana (Tabu) derails his plans.
Star performance (acting) in the Movie:
It is out and out an Ajay Devgn show. We see him in a unique avatar and it was good to see him performing some amazing action on the big screen.
Deepak Dobiryal definitely grabbed the attention Deepak plays the negative character and it was a treat to watch him.
Tabu was seen playing a police inspector and she was decent on her part. Sanjay Mishra, who is seen in bits and pieces, definitely shines toward the climax. Also, Vineet Kumar has less to offer, but the actor was brilliant.
film stars like John Wick-style where the network of goons, who manage to track down the truck in the remotest of locations, forcing Bholaa to single-handedly fight them. Also, Vineet Kumar has less to offer, but the actor was brilliant.
The screenplay of the Movie:
It is great, but it dips in between. But the strong performances do not allow you to get bored. The biggest drawback is that there are very less scenes with actress Amala Paul in it, who is making her Bollywood debut with this movie.
The cinematography in the Movie:
The cinematographer Asem Bajaj has done the work of showing the story of one night in the camera very cleverly
He has also done many experiments with camera angles, and many close-up shots and action sequences have been shot beautifully. The VFX, dialogues, and acting will also be liked by the audience
Action in the Movie:
This is the positive part of the movie. The movie is a complete visual treat for all action lovers. The camera works and the direction is brilliant.Since it is a remake of 'Kathy' That was a strong action-packed film. 'Bhola' also follows in his footsteps. The film opens with a fierce action sequence. This is where the tone of the picture is set. There is a special thing with 'Bhola', its action seems fresh. Not copied from anywhere. There is a 5-minute-long Paisa Vasool chase sequence in the film. Apart from this, when Ajay Devgan starts fighting by lifting the Trishul, it is fun. Well-choreographed sequence. For this, action directors Ramzan Bulut and R.P. Yadav deserve praise.
Music in the Movie:
The BGM of the movie is one of the major high points, especially during the action and the chase sequences, which definitely enhances the movie viewing experience. The background music and the language spoken by the characters seem a bit weak.
Why watch the Movie:
For Action and Ajay Devgan’s performance? For the Climax of the movie.
Rating of the Movie:
Overall 'Bhola' is a mass entertainer. If you go to watch it as a great film, you will be disappointed. But it turns out to be a good masala movie. Here Ajay Devgan has also flourished as a director. Space has also been left for the sequel of the film. If all you want is entertainment and action, then do watch 'Bhola'. The film is set around Pratapgarh and Rae Bareli. But the accent is the same typical UP one, as we have seen in Bollywood. Kanpuriya accent has been inserted in Rae Bareli-Pratapgarh. A little research was needed in this matter. Yes, one more thing, Ajay Devgan speaks in a normal accent. He has not got the typical accent of UP, whereas he is from UP only.
