Kevdi Eco Tourism
This forest eco-tourism campsite is located en route from Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary to Ratanmahal Sanctuary. Located on the banks of a river, this campsite is best known for the flying squirrel that is spotted in the evenings. The nearby tribals depend on this site for forestry activities.
There are also amenities, such as an amphitheater, separate kitchen & dining places, places for a campfire, etc. in diverse forest campsites. The site is rich in biodiversity. Sloth bears, panthers, hyenas, and giant flying squirrels are often sighted at the site.
The nearby tribal communities depend heavily on forests and forestry activities. It is developed as an eco-tourism site due to the feel that it provides rich forests and biodiversity. The main attraction of the campsite is the flying squirrel which can be spotted in the evening and the sloth bears.
There are two campsites in Gujarat having the same name, ‘Kevdi’. One is near Vadodara and another is near Surat.
