Agatti Island
Agatti Islands is considered another jewel from India's Lakshadweep group of islands. The island is situated on one of the coral isles of the Lakshadweep Islands and is one of the islands from the Lakshadweep group that people inhabit. Agatti Island is a 3.3 square kilometer area island in the Lakshadweep group of Islands in India. It is situated about 460 kilometers off the mainland of Kochi and about 530 kilometers away from the Kollam Port. The island has a 25-square-kilometer lagoon area.
Bangaram Island is the nearest Island which is about 7 kilometers from Agatti. It lies to the northeast of the Agatti Islands. To the southeast of Agatti is the Kavaratti Island at a distance of about 55 kilometers. The Suheli Par island is located 77 kilometers to the South of Agatti Island. A small area of about 0.09 square kilometers forms Kalpatti Island and is located at the southern end of Agatti Island.
